All of it is online bookkeeping. I work in your own QuickBooks Online file from Bayfield, so where your business is doesn’t change a thing.

Monthly bookkeeping
The core service, and what most clients need. I go through every transaction and categorize it correctly, reconcile all your bank and credit card accounts, and close the month on a set schedule. You get a monthly report package, and your records are ready for your tax preparer at year end.
Bills & invoicing
I send your invoices, keep track of who hasn’t paid, and keep your bills scheduled so nothing important goes out late. You’ll be able to see what’s coming in and going out.
Monthly reporting
Call it the monthly buzz. A package each month that says what you earned, what you spent, and where it went, written so you do not need an accounting degree to read it. If you’d like to go over it together on a call, I can do that too.
Payroll
Included in Team and Premium. For Starter and Standard, it’s extra help when you need it, priced separately from your monthly package.

Sales tax reporting
Extra help when you need it, priced separately from your monthly package.
Your monthly report tells you exactly what you owe and to which state, county, and town. You handle the actual filing and payment.
Catch-up & cleanup
For books that are months or years behind, or that were set up wrong and have been drifting since. I rebuild the history, fix the categories, reconcile everything back to the statements, and hand you a clean starting point.

Books Health Check

What I don’t do
A few things are outside what I do, on purpose.
I don’t pay your taxes, file your business or sales tax returns, or give tax advice. Your books stay accurate and organized all year, so whoever prepares your taxes has less work to do, and I work directly with them at year end.
Contracts and worker classification questions go to an attorney.
Running your team day to day, including hiring and firing, stays yours to handle. I’m not HR or an office manager.
