Short Terms for One-Time Purchases
These terms cover two one-time purchases from Grumbee’s Bookkeeping LLC (“we,” “us”): the Books Health Check, $50 (or $25 for the half-price checkup that comes with Clean Start Setup), and Clean Start Setup, $500. By paying for either one, you agree to these terms. Monthly bookkeeping works differently. It runs under its own signed agreement.
What you get
Books Health Check. We run a fixed 12-point check inside your QuickBooks Online file and send you a written, plain-English report of what we found. It arrives within five business days after you add us as your accountant in QuickBooks.
Clean Start Setup. We build a brand-new QuickBooks Online company for your business: a chart of accounts (the list of categories your money gets sorted into) built around your business, and one opening balance as of your start date. We hand it back with a written guide, as a PDF. The five-business-day clock starts once we have your answers to our short intake questions and your bank and card accounts are connected.
Half-price checkup. One Books Health Check at $25, about six months after a Clean Start Setup is handed back. Everything in these terms about the Books Health Check applies to it too.
“Business days” means Tuesday through Saturday, the days we’re open.
What this isn’t
- Neither purchase is tax advice, tax preparation, or tax filing. Your tax preparer still handles that part.
- Neither one is an audit or a review, and neither gives any kind of formal assurance about your books. You can share the report and the guide with anyone you like. No bank, lender, or other outside party may rely on them as audited or reviewed statements.
- We work from what’s in your QuickBooks file and what you tell us. We don’t look for fraud or theft, and we don’t check whether transactions are genuine.
- The Books Health Check finds and explains. It doesn’t fix anything, and it can’t find what was left out of the file entirely.
- Clean Start Setup is one delivery with a clear end point, and ongoing help is a separate service. It builds a brand-new file only, so an existing QuickBooks file needs a cleanup, which is quoted separately. It also isn’t built for a business that carries physical inventory.
How access works
- You add us as your accountant in QuickBooks Online, and you can remove that access yourself at any time, from the gear icon, then Manage users, then the Accounting firms tab.
- You keep full ownership of your QuickBooks file and everything in it.
- We don’t ask for your online banking passwords or verification codes. For Clean Start Setup, you connect your own bank and card accounts.
- After we deliver your report or hand back your finished file, we remove our access, or ask you to remove it. If you need a fix under the Clean Start guarantee, or you buy the half-price checkup later, you add us back for that.
Refunds and guarantees
These are the guarantees on our sales pages, word for word.
Books Health Check
“If you aren’t satisfied, I refund you. All of it. No forms and no questions. I would rather give you $50 back than have you feel like you got taken advantage of.”
“If you’d rather not grant it, no hard feelings, just don’t order. And if you already did and change your mind, I’ll refund you in full, no argument.”
The half-price checkup carries the same guarantee, for the $25 you paid.
Clean Start Setup
“If anything in the setup is wrong, I fix it free, within 30 days of handoff. Checked against QuickBooks’ own change history, a real record of exactly who touched what and when. If it shows something changed after handoff, that’s outside the guarantee. A real mistake in the original build stays covered.”
“If you pay and it turns out you already have a QuickBooks file with real activity in it, this setup can’t be built for you. It only ever builds a brand-new file. Your $500 goes toward the cleanup you need instead, and if you’d rather not do that, I refund it.”
“Once your file is built and handed to you, the sale is final.”

Limit of liability
If something goes wrong with either purchase, the most we owe you is what you paid for it.
