Support for 5-Minute Abs
New to the app? See what it does and download it.
For help with the app, email bookkeeping@grumbees.com.
We answer email Tuesday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM to noon, Mountain time. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
5-Minute Abs is published by Grumbee’s Bookkeeping LLC, based in Bayfield, Colorado. That’s why the email address says bookkeeping.
I already paid. How do I get my purchase back?
Pick the Intermediate or Advanced level and press “Unlock everything.” On the next screen, press “Restore a past purchase.” It’s for anyone who paid before and now has a new iPhone or iPad, or who deleted the app and installed it again.
What does it cost?
The Beginner routine is free. To open the Intermediate and Advanced routines and the exercise library, and to change moves and save your own routines, you can pay by the month, by the year, or once. The monthly plan is $1.99 a month and the yearly plan is $19.99 a year. Each renews until you cancel. The lifetime purchase is $49.99, paid once. You can share it with your family through Apple’s Family Sharing.
You can see the name of every move in the library before you pay.
How do I cancel a monthly or yearly plan?
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and press your name. Press Subscriptions, press 5-Minute Abs, then press Cancel Subscription.
If you get Lifetime while a monthly or yearly plan is running, cancel the plan. Lifetime does not cancel it for you.
When a plan ends, the paid parts lock again and the Beginner routine stays free. The routines you saved stay on your devices and open again if you pay again.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. We don’t handle them ourselves, so a refund request goes to Apple.
How do I turn the sounds off?
The speaker button at the top of the workout screen turns the sound off and on. On Apple Watch, the “Sound” switch is at the bottom of the first screen, and turning the Digital Crown during a workout changes the volume. When a workout is showing on both your iPhone and your Apple Watch, the sound comes from the one you pressed Start on.
Can I play music or a podcast during a workout?
Yes. The app’s sounds play over your music or podcast and turn it down for a moment while each one plays. That works on iPhone and on Apple Watch.
Where are my routines kept?
Your routines, your settings and your count of days done are kept on your own iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. If you delete the app, they are deleted too.
Can I make routines on my Apple Watch?
Yes, if you’re on a plan or bought Lifetime. Scroll down the Watch app’s first screen and press New routine. Edit my routines changes or deletes one. Whatever you change on the Watch shows up on your iPhone, and the other way around.
Can the app remind me to work out?
Yes, if you want it to. Open More, press Daily reminder, turn on Remind me each day and pick a time. You can also turn it on from the done screen after a workout. It skips any day the app has already counted as done.
Does the app save my workouts to Apple Health?
The Apple Watch app does, if you give it permission. Each workout you do on the Watch is then saved to Apple Health.
