Privacy Policy for 5-Minute Abs
5-Minute Abs is published by Grumbee’s Bookkeeping LLC, based in Bayfield, Colorado.
The short version: the app does not collect your personal information.
What the app does not do
- It has no accounts. There is no name, email or password to hand over.
- It has no ads.
- It doesn’t track you. It doesn’t share or sell information about you.
What stays on your devices
The routines you build, your settings and your count of days done are saved on your own iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. We can’t see them. If you delete the app, they are deleted too.
While a workout runs on your Apple Watch, the Watch also keeps a note of where it stands, so the workout can be picked back up if the app closes partway. The note stays on the Watch. The app clears it when the workout ends, or the next time the app opens if the workout isn’t picked up.
Daily reminder
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app asks your permission to show notifications. The reminder is set on your own iPhone or iPad, and the time you pick is saved there. Nothing about it is sent to us. To turn it off, open More in the app, press Daily reminder and switch off Remind me each day. You can also turn off notifications for 5-Minute Abs in Settings.
Apple Health
On Apple Watch, the app asks for your permission to save your workouts to Apple Health. If you say yes, each workout you do on the Watch is saved there. While a workout runs, your Apple Watch also records the calories in Apple Health, the way it does for any workout. The app doesn’t read anything from Apple Health, and nothing is sent to us.
To take your permission back, open the Health app on your iPhone and press your picture or initials at the top. Under Privacy, press Apps, then press 5-Minute Abs and turn it off.
If you delete the app, the workouts it already saved stay in Apple Health until you delete them yourself. To delete one, open the Fitness app on your iPhone, press Summary, then Sessions. Swipe left on the workout, press the delete button, and choose Delete Workout & Data.
Purchases
If you pay for a plan or the lifetime purchase, Apple handles the payment. We don’t see your card or payment details. Apple sends us sales totals. It doesn’t tell us who you are.
What Apple may send us
If you have chosen in your iPhone or iPad settings to share app information with developers, Apple may send us crash reports and usage numbers. They don’t identify you.
If you contact us
If you email us, we see your email address and what you wrote. We use them only to answer you.
Children
The app is not made for children under 13.
Changes
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
